Dr. Breno Tavares, DDS

Dr. Breno Tavares is an expert in dental implants who received his training in Brazil and has now brought those advanced skills to the United States. Brazil is so respected for implant dentistry that American dentists regularly fly there to take hands-on courses and learn the latest techniques on real patients. After completing his U.S. dental degree at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Tavares brings extensive hands-on experience, with a special focus on implants and oral surgery. Back in Brazil, he co-owned and ran his own dental clinic, where he performed a high volume of implant and oral surgery cases while also managing the practice and its staff. When it comes to implants, he’s done it all, from replacing a single tooth to restoring full mouths of teeth with the All-on-X technique.

Outside the office, Dr. Tavares enjoys tennis, soccer, online gaming, and continuing to study his craft. He is happily married and the proud father of a baby girl.

In his own words: “At first, my goal was simply to earn my degree and eventually move back to Florida. But along the way, I fell in love with the city of Pittsburgh, and, more importantly, with its people. Their warmth, kindness, respect, and strong sense of community are values that deeply resonate with me. They’re the same values I strive to embody every day and reflect in the way I care for and treat my patients.
